South China Shipyard, originally Chinese state-owned "Guangdong Xinhui Shipyard" established in 1958, was purchased by an experienced vessel developer in Hong Kong, South China Shipbuilding Holdings (HK) Ltd, exclusively with its own investment in August, 2005.
